Virgin Money UK PLC has announced the appointment of Petra van Hoeken as an independent Non-Executive Director and the Chair of the Risk Committee, effective 1 July 2024. She brings extensive financial services expertise and international banking experience, having held executive and non-executive roles at Dutch and international banks. The appointment follows the departure of Geeta Gopalan from the Board on 30 June 2024.
