Skanska has secured a USD 53 million (about SEK 520 million) contract from the city of Franklin, Tennessee, to build a new three-story City Hall, which will be added to its U.S. order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2025. The project, already underway and slated for completion in July 2027, will replace the demolished former City Hall and is designed to support Franklin’s long-term growth, accommodating 250 employees and providing extensive public meeting spaces, below-grade parking, parkland, and commercial shell space, underscoring Skanska’s role in civic infrastructure development and its continued positioning in the U.S. public-sector construction market.
