Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has issued an announcement.
Skanska has secured a EUR 50 million (about SEK 540 million) contract from the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland to deliver the second phase of a hospital project in Turku, which will be booked in its Nordic order intake for the first quarter of 2026. The project, extending the Turku University Hospital Main Hospital area for psychiatric care, includes two new hospital wings of six and nine floors with a total gross floor area of around 24,000 square meters, linked to the first-phase building that Skanska completed in 2024, along with internal modifications to existing structures; construction is set to start in early 2026 and finish in 2028, further strengthening Skanska’s presence in Nordic healthcare infrastructure.
