Skanska AB ( ($SE:SKA.B) ) has issued an announcement.
Skanska has secured a SEK 380 million contract with Skellefteå Municipality to construct the Karlgårdsbron bridge over the Skellefte River in Skellefteå, Sweden. This project, which will be Sweden’s longest wooden bridge, is set to enhance connectivity between the city’s districts by accommodating various forms of traffic, including cars, buses, pedestrians, and bicycles. The construction will commence immediately and is slated for completion in November 2027, highlighting Skanska’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure development.
