Simply Solventless Concentrates Ltd ( (TSE:HASH) ) has provided an update.
Simply Solventless Concentrates announced that all LED lighting for the retrofit of its Humble Grow Co. cultivation facility has been ordered, with preliminary schedules indicating the upgrade could deliver full retrofit production by early third quarter 2026. The approximately $2.5 million retrofit (about $1.5 million net of expected government rebates) involves converting to LED lighting, reconfiguring tables, adding irrigation, dehumidifiers and improved air circulation, which is expected to triple light intensity and materially boost yields. Management projects the retrofit will increase annual gross revenue by $17.5 million to $29.5 million to a total of $53.5 million to $65.5 million and raise annual adjusted EBITDA by $6.5 million to $14.5 million to $10.7 million to $18.7 million, implying a payback period of less than one year. With fixed costs at Humble expected to remain stable, Simply Solventless anticipates most incremental margin will flow directly to EBITDA and believes the upgraded facility will position it as one of the few large-scale, high-quality indoor cultivation assets outside the major Canadian licensed producers, enhancing its competitive standing among junior cannabis companies as it broadens its mix between B2B and branded recreational sales.
