In its latest earnings report, PT Bank Mandiri showcased a robust financial performance for the first quarter of 2025, with notable growth in net income and comprehensive income compared to the previous year.
The bank reported a net income of IDR 14.53 trillion for the period ending March 31, 2025, an increase from IDR 14.12 trillion in the same period in 2024. This growth was driven by an increase in interest and sharia income, which totaled IDR 39.63 trillion, up from IDR 35.54 trillion in the previous year. Additionally, the bank’s total assets grew to IDR 2,463.66 trillion from IDR 2,427.22 trillion at the end of 2024.
Despite a rise in operating expenses, including salaries and administrative costs, the bank managed to maintain a strong operational income of IDR 18.11 trillion, reflecting its efficient cost management and strategic focus on revenue-generating activities.
Looking ahead, PT Bank Mandiri remains optimistic about its growth prospects, with management focusing on expanding its market share and enhancing its service offerings to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
