Old Republic Rolls Out Deferred Compensation Plan for Executives

An update from Old Republic International ( (ORI) ) is now available.

Old Republic International Corporation has introduced a Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plan, set to take effect on January 1, 2025, tailored for select management and highly compensated employees. This plan allows for deferral and distribution in line with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code, with contributions always fully vested. While the company can make discretionary contributions, participants’ accounts will reflect hypothetical investment performance. The plan’s obligations are not secured, making participants unsecured creditors for their deferred compensation. Participants also cannot transfer their expected payments, although they can designate beneficiaries for death benefits.
