Noble Mineral Exploration ( (TSE:NOB) ) has provided an update.
Noble Mineral Exploration has completed the first hole of a diamond drill program in Carnegie Township near Timmins, Ontario, conducted under a 50/50 partnership with 11530313 Canada Inc. on ground recently transferred to Canada Nickel, over which Noble retains a five-year exploration right for volcanogenic massive sulphide and precious metals. The initial hole returned a 6.5-metre interval grading 0.64% zinc, including a 1-metre section at 1.90% zinc with associated anomalous copper, silver and lead, and subsequent downhole MALM and surface magnetometer surveys outlined coincident electromagnetic and magnetic anomalies that will help trace the mineralized zone and guide follow-up drilling, including a second hole targeting the same structure at greater depth and two additional planned holes in Southwest Carnegie as the company continues to pursue mineralization akin to the Kidd Creek deposit.
