M.P. Evans ( (GB:MPE) ) has shared an announcement.
M.P. Evans reported strong operational performance for 2025, with fresh fruit bunches harvested from its own estates rising 8% to 1,009,300 tonnes and scheme-smallholder output up 5%, partly driven by contributions from recently acquired areas and improving yields from younger plantings. The company deliberately cut low-margin independent crop purchases by 41% as it continues to shift its mill intake toward higher-margin own production, while average crude palm-oil prices rose 5% to US$866 per tonne and palm-kernel prices jumped 42% to US$748, underpinning higher revenue and profitability. Despite earlier flooding at the Simpang Kiri estate, operations and 2025 output were not materially affected, and management signalled that robust pricing into early 2026 and its sustainability-focused strategy position the group to deliver excellent results and pursue further growth and yield improvements for shareholders.
