ING Groep ( (ING) ) has shared an update.

On 3 February 2026, ING Groep reported progress on its €1.1 billion share buyback programme launched on 30 October 2025, confirming that it repurchased 2,606,377 shares during the week of 26–30 January 2026 at an average price of €24.76 for a total of about €64.5 million. The buyback, which is intended to reduce ING’s share capital, has so far seen 25,520,672 shares repurchased at an average price of €23.23, representing roughly €592.9 million in spent capital and completion of about 53.9% of the planned programme, signalling continued capital return to shareholders and potentially supporting earnings per share and capital efficiency metrics.
