In an operational update released on January 21, 2026, GeoPark reported that its full-year 2025 oil and gas production averaged 28,233 boepd, exceeding the upper end of its guidance range, driven by strong performance in Colombia’s Llanos 34, CPO-5 and Llanos 123 blocks, as well as early contribution from newly acquired Vaca Muerta assets in Argentina. The company launched a polymer injection project in the Llanos 34 Block on December 26, 2025 to enhance secondary recovery, completed the integration and operational handover of the Loma Jarillosa Este and Puesto Silva Oeste blocks in Argentina with an operational office established in Neuquén, divested its interests in Brazil’s Manati gas field and Ecuador’s Espejo and Perico blocks in December 2025, reopened Colombia’s Platanillo field in October 2025, and outlined a 1Q2026 drilling program centered on development wells in Llanos 34 and 123 and preparation for an expanded drilling campaign in Loma Jarillosa, while also announcing the January 19, 2026 resignation of director Somit Varma, prompting a forthcoming board succession review.
