First Horizon Corporation, a leading regional financial services company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, provides a wide range of banking services including commercial, private banking, consumer, small business, wealth and trust management, retail brokerage, capital markets, fixed income, and mortgage banking services across 12 states in the southern U.S.

In the second quarter of 2025, First Horizon Corporation reported a net income available to common shareholders of $233 million, with earnings per share (EPS) of $0.45, marking a $0.04 increase from the previous quarter. The company also highlighted an adjusted net income of $229 million or $0.45 per share, reflecting a $0.03 increase from the prior quarter.

Key financial metrics for the quarter included a net interest income increase of $10 million to $645 million, driven by loan portfolio growth, while the net interest margin slightly decreased by 2 basis points to 3.40% due to higher deposit costs. Noninterest income rose by $7 million to $189 million, with notable increases in service charges and fees, and mortgage banking fees. The company also saw a $1 billion increase in period-end loan and lease balances, primarily due to growth in loans to mortgage companies.

First Horizon’s asset quality remained stable with a provision expense decrease of $10 million, while nonperforming loans decreased by $17 million. The company’s capital position strengthened with a CET1 ratio of 11.0%, up 7 basis points from the previous quarter.
