Firering Strategic Minerals Plc is rapidly advancing the refurbishment of its quicklime plant in Zambia, with significant engineering progress including the installation of a new kiln feed conveyor belt and an impact crusher. The modifications aim to enable phased production starting in Q4 of this year, with the company also making strides in on-site laboratory operations to ensure high-purity quicklime production. Additionally, Firering is preparing for the arrival of a gasifier from India, which is a critical component of their production system.
