Also in early January 2026, DHT extended the time charter for its 2016-built VLCC DHT Harrier with a global energy company for a new five-year term starting immediately after the current contract ends, at a daily rate of $47,500 plus two optional one-year extensions at higher rates, reinforcing longer-term earnings visibility and customer relationships amid a firming crude tanker market.
