Darktrace plc, a leading cybersecurity firm, has been acquired by Luke Bidco Limited, a company backed by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition was completed through a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement and is expected to become effective on October 1, 2024, resulting in the suspension and cancellation of trading Darktrace shares on the London Stock Exchange. Shareholders of Darktrace are set to receive their consideration in US dollars unless they opt for the GBP Currency Election by September 30, 2024.
