Commerzbank AG has issued EUR 500 million of fixed-to-fixed rate Green Tier 2 12NC7 notes due 21 January 2038 under its medium-term note programme, with no stabilisation activities carried out by the appointed stabilising managers in connection with the offering. The transaction underscores Commerzbank’s use of subordinated green debt to support its capital structure and sustainable funding strategy, with a syndicate including Commerzbank, Danske Bank, ING Bank and The Toronto-Dominion Bank coordinating the placement for institutional investors in permitted jurisdictions.
