The transaction underscores Commerzbank’s use of subordinated green debt to support its capital structure and sustainable funding strategy, with a syndicate including Commerzbank, Danske Bank, ING Bank and The Toronto-Dominion Bank coordinating the placement for institutional investors in permitted jurisdictions.
