Colliers International Group ( (TSE:CIGI) ) just unveiled an announcement.

On February 3, 2026, Colliers announced a definitive agreement to acquire Ayesa Engineering, the engineering division of Spain’s Ayesa Group, for roughly US$700 million in cash, with closing expected in the second quarter of 2026. Ayesa Engineering, founded in 1966 and generating about US$370 million in gross revenues in 2025, brings more than 3,200 professionals across 21 countries and strong capabilities in multidiscipline engineering design, project management and technical consulting in transportation, water, buildings and cities, and energy. The deal significantly expands Colliers’ Engineering segment, which will operate in 23 countries with nearly 14,000 professionals post-closing, strengthening its position among the world’s top engineering firms and broadening its reach across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia and Australia, while maintaining Ayesa’s brand and leadership equity participation under Colliers’ partnership model.
