In its third quarter fiscal 2025 earnings report, Clearfield reported a revenue of $49.9 million, marking a 15% year-over-year growth in its Clearfield Segment, and a net income per share of $0.11, which exceeded the top end of its guidance range. The company also announced an increase in its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $180 million to $184 million.

Clearfield’s financial performance in the third quarter of fiscal 2025 was highlighted by a 2% increase in net sales compared to the same quarter last year, reaching $49.9 million. The company achieved a significant improvement in gross profit, which rose by 42% to $15.2 million, and a gross margin increase to 30.5% from 21.9% in the previous year. Operating income also saw a remarkable turnaround, with a 165% increase to $1.5 million from a loss of $2.3 million in the prior year.

The company attributed its strong performance to increased customer demand in the Large Regional Service Provider and MSO end markets, as well as improvements in overhead absorption and inventory management. Clearfield’s strategic focus on optimizing capacity and driving market share gains contributed to its solid top and bottom-line results. Additionally, the company repurchased $5.6 million in shares, with $8.4 million remaining available for future repurchases.

Looking ahead, Clearfield has raised its annual revenue guidance for fiscal 2025, expecting net sales to be between $180 million and $184 million. For the fourth quarter, the company anticipates net sales to range from $47 million to $51 million, with net income per share projected to be between $0.03 and $0.11. Clearfield remains optimistic about its growth prospects, focusing on expanding its market share and maintaining strong financial performance.
