The latest update is out from PIERER Mobility AG ( (CH:PKTM) ).

KTM AG, the key operating company within Bajaj Mobility AG, is advancing a sweeping restructuring and efficiency program following its insolvency at the end of 2024, aiming to secure a sustainable competitive position after a “fresh start” in 2025. As part of the realignment, KTM will cut around 500 jobs, mainly in salaried roles and middle management, and eliminate a management layer while simplifying its model range, IT landscape and organizational structures to reduce fixed costs and focus squarely on its motorcycles business under the KTM, GASGAS and Husqvarna brands. The company has already exited non-core activities by divesting FELT Bicycles, ending CFMOTO distribution, and selling MV Agusta and X-Bow, and now plans to operate with a smaller core team and lower structural costs to re-establish itself among the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers. Backed by majority shareholder Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V., KTM underlines its commitment to remain a strong international brand, building on record motorsport success in 2025 and stronger-than-expected demand that helped rapidly reduce dealer inventories, with management expecting the cost cuts to support further economic improvement in 2026.
