Arendals Fossekompani ASA, the majority shareholder of Volue ASA, has entered into an agreement to sell a 60% stake to an acquisition vehicle controlled by investment firms Advent International and Generation Investment Management LLP. Shareholders of Volue will receive an offer of NOK 42 per share, representing a significant premium over recent trading prices. The deal aims to take Volue private, enabling it to focus on growth opportunities in the energy software market during an anticipated period of industry disruption.
