Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc., the world’s largest independent McDonald’s franchisee, has announced its intention to renew its Master Franchise Agreement (MFA) with McDonald’s, effective January 1, 2025. The renewal secures a new 20-year MFA with a tiered royalty structure, underscoring the company’s growth prospects in its 20 Latin American and Caribbean markets. Arcos Dorados plans to continue its expansion by opening approximately 90 to 100 new restaurants in 2025.
