Demesne Resources Ltd. ( (TSE:TUNG) ) has shared an announcement.
American Tungsten Corp. reported high-grade tungsten and silver assay results from underground channel sampling at the No. 5 vein of its IMA Mine, with underground samples averaging 1.04% WO3 and 2.70 oz/t silver over an average width of 5 feet. Surface rock chip sampling on both sides of Patterson Creek confirmed meaningful tungsten-silver mineralization in quartz veins up to 10 feet wide well beyond the primary mine area, while preliminary sampling of historical tailings in the Lower Tailings Impoundment, covering roughly 30 acres, returned average grades of 0.235% WO3 and 0.45 oz/t silver, suggesting potential for additional recoverable metal. Together with an almost-complete drill program, these results support the continuity and scale of the mineralized system at IMA, potentially strengthening the project’s economic prospects and underscoring the strategic value of the asset in the tungsten sector.
