Strøm Gundersen, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has secured a NOK 538 million turnkey contract to build a new six-storey vehicle preparation centre, administration building and multi-level car park at Holmen in Drammen for a project company owned by Bertel O. Steen Eiendom and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Inland Services. The facility, comprising around 3,000 square metres of office and amenity space, 10,000 square metres of vehicle preparation areas and 34,000 square metres of parking and ramps, will be developed to BREEAM-NOR standards with a target of an Excellent rating, underscoring AF Gruppen’s positioning in sustainable, complex logistics-oriented construction; construction is set to begin in March 2026 with completion expected in December 2027, reinforcing its order backlog and presence in Norway’s automotive-related infrastructure segment.
