Cathie Wood Bets on AMD, Bullish, and Figma; Trims Tempus AI, Roku

Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest ETFs (exchange-traded funds) reported several notable trades on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, according to daily disclosures. The trades show Wood boosting exposure to technology stocks, crypto platforms, and biotech innovators, while scaling back on Tempus AI (TEM) and Roku Inc. (ROKU).

Wood Expands Position in BLSH and Biotech Stocks

The day’s largest buy was cryptocurrency exchange Bullish (BLSH). The ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) together bought 161,183 shares, worth about $8.23 million. Bullish operates a regulated digital asset exchange, and ARK has been steadily adding to its stake in recent sessions, signaling strong conviction in the platform’s long-term growth.

Furthermore, the ARK Invest fund increased stakes in several biotech leaders. The ARKK purchased 61,531 shares of Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA) for about $7.13 million. ARKK also bought 69,889 shares of CRISPR Therapeutics (CRSP) worth $4.04 million. It added 81,777 shares of Beam Therapeutics (BEAM) valued at $1.74 million. In addition, the ARK Genomic Revolution ETF (ARKG) acquired 62,313 shares of Arcturus Therapeutics (ARCT), a company working on RNA medicines, for $1.13 million.

Wood Boosts Exposure to AMD, Airbnb, and Figma

On the tech side, the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) bought 25,899 shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), valued at $4.17 million. AMD is a leading chipmaker and a key competitor in the AI semiconductor market, an area ARK continues to back heavily. ARKF also acquired 25,865 shares of Airbnb (ABNB), the global travel and accommodation platform, worth $3.17 million.

Meanwhile, ARKW bought 109,678 shares of Figma (FIG), the cloud-based design software company, valued at about $5.9 million.

Wood Cuts Holdings in Tempus AI and Roku

On the sell side, ARK made a large reduction in Tempus AI, a health-tech company that applies AI to precision medicine. ARKK and the ARKG sold a combined 167,598 shares, valued at $14.27 million. The move extends ARK’s recent trend of trimming Tempus.

ARKK also reduced its stake in Roku, the TV streaming platform, selling 9,151 shares worth $859,461.
