Two Wall Street analysts issued fresh endorsements of Archer Aviation (ACHR) yesterday, each projecting more than 30% upside for the eVTOL developer. Canaccord Genuity’s Austin Moeller and Cantor Fitzgerald’s Andres Sheppard both reiterated Buy ratings, with Moeller setting a $13.50 price target and Sheppard closely behind at $13.00. With shares trading around $10.20, both targets suggest meaningful optimism about Archer’s trajectory.

The bullish calls come on the heels of Archer’s recent successful conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) test of its Midnight aircraft. For Moeller, the CTOL milestone signals operational maturity and boosts confidence in Archer’s goal of securing type certification by the first half of 2027. The achievement also demonstrates that Midnight isn’t just a vertical-only aircraft—it can operate across more real-world scenarios, making it more versatile for commercial and defense partners alike.

From Hype to Hardware
Sheppard’s support aligns with a broader belief in Archer’s position as one of the best-funded and strategically partnered players in the eVTOL space. He’s also watching for further progress on deliveries and testing, especially as Archer gears up for potential flight operations in Abu Dhabi.
These new ratings build on themes we’ve explored in earlier coverage: Archer is transitioning from hype to hardware. Its Georgia factory is complete. Stellantis (STLA) is ready to co-produce. Cash reserves exceed $1 billion. But 2025 was always meant to be the year of execution, not just tests and press releases, but real aircraft deliveries.
However, challenges remain. The company continues to burn cash and faces stiff competition. But these analyst endorsements suggest that recent milestones, like the CTOL flight, are helping keep Archer’s long-term story aloft. For now, investors seem willing to bet that the runway ahead leads somewhere tangible.
Is Archer Aviation Stock a Good Buy?
Until very recently, Archer Aviation held a Strong Buy rating, but it has since moved to a Moderate Buy rating. The average ACHR stock price target is $10.92, implying a 12.35% upside.
