Top Wall Street analysts remain upbeat on AMD (AMD) following its 2025 Analyst Day, where the chipmaker laid out long-term financial targets and a roadmap to lead the $1 trillion compute market. AMD stock soared 9% on Wednesday, reflecting investors’ confidence in the company’s AI and data center growth prospects.

It must be mentioned that AMD sees strength in data center (DC) and AI workloads, projecting future earnings per share (EPS) of over $20 and a 35% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue.

Here’s What Analysts Are Saying

Truist Securities analyst William Stein reiterated a Buy rating and a $279 price target, calling AMD a “trusted partner” in the DC/AI space. Stein sees EPS growing at a 45% CAGR through 2030, driven by server accelerators. He noted AMD stock remains undervalued, trading at just 10x its projected 2030 EPS.

Stifel analyst Ruben Roy also maintained a Buy rating with a $280 target, pointing to AMD’s consistent strategy around technology leadership, software, and IP. Roy remains bullish on AMD’s long-term strategy and financial outlook. He sees medium-term EPS potential of $13 to $15, with long-term targets above $20.

Cantor Fitzgerald’s C.J. Muse was even more bullish, reaffirming a Buy rating and a $350 price target. He pointed to AMD’s updated financial outlook, which aims for strong profit margins and earnings of over $22 per share by 2029, possibly reaching $33 by 2030.

He praised AMD’s capital discipline, noting over $100 billion invested in acquisitions and organic growth over the past five years, and $9.4 billion remaining in share repurchase authorization.

Turning to Wall Street, AMD stock has a Moderate Buy consensus rating based on 28 Buys and 10 Holds assigned in the last three months. At $281.27, the average AMD price target implies an 8.64% upside potential.
