The company exceeded Wall Street expectations with its upbeat guidance, reflecting strong confidence in its business outlook. However, despite the positive performance, ACN stock fell over 5% in pre-market trading on Friday. This suggests that investor concerns over macroeconomic headwinds and continued uncertainty in the consulting and IT services sector still persist.

Meanwhile, COO John Walsh will step in as Americas CEO. The changes aim to further scale Accenture’s business by strengthening its ability to drive reinvention and accelerate the delivery of generative AI solutions.
