The U.S. Department of Justice filed a motion last week to extend two deadlines in U.S. Steel (X) opens new tab and Nippon Steel’s (NPSCY) lawsuit against the Committee on Foreign Investment, Reuters reports. The two companies filed a lawsuit against CFIUS in January after it recommended the merger be rejected on national security concerns.
