U.S. stock futures dipped slightly early Wednesday as investors awaited more clarity on the trade agreement between the U.S. and China. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), and the S&P 500 (SPX) were down 0.31%, 0.22%, and 0.29%, respectively, at 3:19 a.m. EST, June 11.

According to an NBC report, U.S. and Chinese officials agreed on a trade framework following a second day of talks in London. U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said he and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will head back to Washington, D.C., to “make sure President Trump approves” the deal.

Still, a degree of uncertainty remains, as the deal awaits final approval from President Trump.

During Tuesday’s regular session, the S&P 500 rose nearly 0.6%, marking its third straight day of gains. The Dow Jones climbed 0.3%, while the Nasdaq Composite (NDAQ) closed higher by 0.66%.

In after-hours trading, GitLab (GTLB) shares fell over 13% even though the company posted stronger-than-expected Q1 FY26 results. However, Dave & Buster’s (PLAY) stock jumped more than 10% following the release of its Q1 2025 earnings report.

Investors are now eyeing key inflation data due today, with May’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) expected to show a 0.2% rise from April and 2.4% year-over-year. A stronger-than-expected reading could add to investor worries about persistent inflation.

On the corporate earnings front, pet supplies retailer Chewy (CHWY) and technology company Oracle Corporation (ORCL) are set to report their results today.

Meanwhile, the U.S. 10-year treasury yield was up, floating near 4.49%. Simultaneously, WTI crude oil futures are trending lower, hovering near $64.94 per barrel as of the last check. At the same time, the Gold Spot U.S. Dollar Price rose to nearly $3,336 per ounce on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, European markets were muted on Wednesday as investors awaited a key U.S. inflation report and weighed the possible impact of a U.S.-China trade agreement.

Asia-Pacific Markets Ended Higher Today

Asia-Pacific indices moved higher on Wednesday following a trade agreement between the U.S. and China.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was up 1.02%. Further, Japan’s Nikkei and Topix indices gained 0.55% and 0.13%, respectively. At the same time, China’s Shanghai Composite and Shenzhen Component indices closed lower by 0.52% and 0.83%, respectively.
