Skanska to Build Sweden’s Longest Wooden Bridge in Skellefteå

Skanska has secured a contract with Skellefteå Municipality to construct the Karlgårdsbron bridge over the Skellefte River in Sweden, valued at approximately SEK 380 million. This project, set to be Sweden’s longest wooden bridge, will enhance connectivity between city districts and accommodate various forms of traffic, with completion expected by November 2027.
