Skanska has secured a SEK 380 million contract with Skellefteå Municipality to construct the Karlgårdsbron bridge in Skellefteå, Sweden. This project, which will be Sweden’s longest wooden bridge, is set to enhance connectivity across the city by facilitating car, bus, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic. The construction will commence immediately and is expected to be completed by November 2027, marking a significant development in Skanska’s operations and reinforcing its position in the infrastructure sector.
