Azul SA ( (AZUL) ) just unveiled an update.
In 2024, Azul S.A. achieved record financial results despite challenges such as a weakening Brazilian real, floods, supply chain issues, and high fuel prices. The company reported a record EBITDA of over R$6.0 billion and total operating revenue of R$19.5 billion, marking a 4.4% increase from the previous year. This growth was driven by strong demand, increased capacity, and the success of diversified business units like Azul Fidelidade and Azul Viagens. Additionally, Azul successfully restructured its balance sheet, extinguishing over US$1.6 billion in debt and improving liquidity, setting the stage for future growth with a focus on margin expansion and cash flow generation.
