Vera-Rubin HBM4 report sparks fresh Micron positioning questions, says Wells

Wells Fargo notes that this weekend, The Korea Economic Daily published another article highlighting Samsung (SSNLF) and Hynix (HXSCL) positioning as HBM4 suppliers in Nvidia’s (NVDA) Vera-Rubin platform, while suggesting Micron (MU) may not have any positioning. Wells notes that it hasn’t spoken with Micron on this article, but highlights the company’s management has remained confident in its HBM4 competitive positioning. The firm also points out that UDN.com published an article highlighting that Innolux has received large orders for optical components from Nvidia and Google (GOOGL), noting that Nvidia is planning to drive silicon photonics with its upcoming Vera-Rubin platform.
