WAR ON IRAN: President Donald Trump said he foresaw ending the war on Iran within two to three weeks, suggesting the U.S. had largely accomplished its military goals and would leave it to other nations to resolve issues with the Strait of Hormuz, Bloomberg’s Kate Sullivan, Catherine Lucey, Eric Martin, Jennifer A Dlouhy, and Jeff Mason report. “I would say that within two weeks, maybe two weeks, maybe three,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday. “We’ll leave because there’s no reason for us to do this.” Trump indicated that it was possible that Iran could still reach a deal with the U.S. during that timeframe but said an agreement with Tehran was not necessary for the war to end, the authors add.

STRAIT OF HORMUZ: President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, “Iran’s New Regime President, much less Radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a CEASEFIRE! We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages!!!”

Meanwhile, Bloomberg cited Iranian media reporting Foreign Minister Araghchi stated that “only Iran and Oman” will decide the future of the Strait of Hormuz, and that it won’t reopen based on President Trump’s “absurd” displays.

PAC-3 SEEKER PRODUCTION: Boeing (BA) and the U.S. Department of War, DOW, have agreed to a seven-year framework to triple production of PAC-3 seekers to meet global demand for air and missile defense to protect service members, civilians and critical infrastructure. The effort is a cornerstone of the Arsenal of Freedom, a national initiative to strengthen the defense industrial base and secure a future of peace through strength. Boeing-built seekers enable U.S. and allied PAC-3 interceptors to identify, track and defeat advanced threats ranging from hostile aircraft and hypersonics to ballistic and cruise missiles. The framework agreement enables a massive increase in the supply of seekers needed to expand the protection provided by the world’s most advanced air defense system. Boeing has invested more than $200 million since 2024 to expand PAC-3 seeker production capacity in Huntsville, Alabama, including a 35,000-square-foot facility expansion. The framework paves the way for additional, cash-neutral Boeing investments throughout the production value stream, providing certainty to meet growing demand.

NORTHERN STRIKE 26-2: Palladyne AI (PDYN) announced it has been invited to participate in Northern Strike 26-2, a premier U.S. Department of War joint exercise, where the company will execute a high-impact validation exercise of its next-generation swarm autonomy platform, further solidifying its position in the rapidly expanding autonomous defense market.
