According to an internal message, Starbucks (SBUX) said it expects to open a new corporate office in Nashville, Tennessee later this year as part of efforts to expand in parts of the U.S., the Wall Street Journal’s Heather Haddon reports. The office will house part of the coffee chain’s North American supply-chain operation, the author says, noting the company intends to offer jobs to dozens of existing Seattle-based staff to relocate.
