A Belgian court has ordered Poland and Romania to accept and pay for EUR 1.9B, or $2.2B, worth of Covid-19 vaccines from Pfizer (PFE), rejecting their arguments for non-compliance with a European Commission supply contract, Reuters’ Inti Landauro reports. Poland must take EUR 1.3B worth of doses and Romania EUR 600M, after both had refused delivery citing pandemic developments and other concerns.
