Sony’s (SONY) PlayStation business is planning to drop its “PlayStation Network” and “PSN” branding by September of this year, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson reports. In an email sent to developers, PlayStation will be retiring such branding, saying the change will be purely visual and is a means to “properly capture the breadth of our evolving digital services,” the author notes.
