Nintendo’s (NTDOY) “Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream” was the top-selling physical video game in Japan for the week of May 11-17 with 98,092 copies sold during the week, bringing the game’s lifetime sales in Japan to 1.14M, Famitsu reports. Looking at hardware, Nintendo’s Switch 2 sold 217,922 units in Japan for the week, the Switch 1 family sold 21,392 units, Sony‘s (SONY) PlayStation 5 sold 9,243 units, and Microsoft’s (MSFT) Xbox Series sold 431 units, according to Famitsu. Other top selling games for the week in Japan were “Pokemon Pokopia,” “Mario Kart World,” “Minecraft,” “Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” and Capcom’s (CCOEY) “Pragmata.”
