Google is developing a fitness band meant to compete with wearable devices from upstarts such as Whoop and Oura Health Oy, Samantha Kelly of Bloomberg reports. The new model is being developed under the Fitbit brand and is planned to be released later this year, a person with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg.
