Jefferies raised the firm’s price target on Eastman Chemical (EMN) to $89 from $80 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. A steeper cost curve should help Eastman’s Chemical Intermediates margins and could lead to share gains to mostly offset pressure on end-market demand, if sustained, says the analyst, who increased the firm’s 2026 estimates to account for improved CI segment margins.
