BofA initiated coverage of Burford Capital (BUR) with a Buy rating and 1,062 GBp price target The firm views Burford as “a unique business with performance uncorrelated to the wider market” and calculates that the company generates a “Cash RoTE” above its cost of equity and should trade above tangible book value, which it does not. The firm thinks the de-rating over 2025 was “overdone given the cash generation available,” the analyst added.
