Jefferies raised the firm’s price target on American Electric (AEP) to $150 from $137 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm says the stock’s investment thesis has “strengthened materially” since October, when the company’s contracted load stood at 28 GW. That figure has now doubled to 56 GW by 2030, concentrated in ERCOT at 36 GW, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
