Shrenik Kothari has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Cloudflare’s emerging role in the “agentic cloud” and its deep integration with Anthropic’s Claude platform. He views Cloudflare’s global network, Workers platform, and new Environments for Claude Managed Agents as the execution and security layer that allows AI agents to move from demos to production, handling code execution, private connectivity, and specialized tools at global scale.
He also emphasizes that Cloudflare is positioning its Workers, sandboxes, and microVM-based architecture as the core substrate for safe, cost-efficient, and observable agent operations, with strong Zero Trust controls around access to enterprise systems. By enabling fine-grained security, governance, and observability over agent behavior, he believes Cloudflare can become a critical infrastructure provider for enterprise AI workloads, supporting his decision to maintain a Buy rating and keep the price target unchanged at $270.
In another report released on May 14, Citi also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $265.00 price target.
