Sebastien Naji has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including Astera Labs’ strong first‑quarter results and upgraded outlook, both driven by accelerating demand for its Scorpio switch family across more AI use cases. He also highlights that the company is increasing its dollar content per accelerator to more than $1,000 with newer high‑radix switches, underscoring a powerful monetization opportunity within AI data center infrastructure.

Moreover, Naji points to Astera’s broadening connectivity portfolio—spanning PCIe, Ethernet, and upcoming X‑series switches—as a key driver of sustained growth and share gains in AI connectivity spending. Even after a sharp share price appreciation and elevated valuation multiples on 2026 and 2027 earnings, he remains positive on the multiyear growth runway and the company’s ability to secure deeper, next‑generation AI design wins, which supports his continued Outperform (Buy) stance.

In another report released yesterday, Craig-Hallum also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $0.00 price target.

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 90 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of ALAB in relation to earlier this year.
