Sublime Security has been selected for Notable Capital’s Rising in Cyber 2026 list, a CISO-voted ranking of 30 top private cybersecurity startups that is increasingly used by enterprises and investors as a signal of real-world adoption. The recognition centers on Sublime’s agentic email security platform, which targets AI-driven, highly tailored email attacks that remain one of the most persistent enterprise vulnerabilities.

Unlike traditional award programs, Rising in Cyber honorees are chosen by 150 active CISOs and senior security executives, indicating that Sublime’s technology is being deployed to address pressing operational risks rather than just generating industry buzz. The 2026 cohort, which has collectively raised over $6.9 billion according to PitchBook, spans identity, access management, AI security, security operations, and application defense, positioning Sublime among peers defining the next generation of enterprise security.

CEO and co-founder Josh Kamdjou said the listing reflects Sublime’s focus on modern defenses for email, which remains the primary business communication channel even as attackers leverage AI to scale and customize campaigns. Sublime’s agentic architecture is designed to function like a digital SOC team, automating threat triage in seconds and rolling out new, tailored detections within hours, with full transparency for security teams.

The Rising in Cyber 2026 report, produced with Morgan Stanley and released alongside the list, highlights how AI agents are reshaping security operations and notes a surge in strategic M&A, suggesting an active consolidation environment that could affect future options for Sublime and its investors. Notable Capital’s managing partner Oren Yunger framed security as a key enabler for AI adoption at scale, underscoring the importance of platforms like Sublime’s for enterprises accelerating AI deployments.

Sublime’s inclusion follows a period of strong momentum: the company was recently ranked the top security company on Fast Company’s 2026 World’s Most Innovative Companies list and placed among the top 50 overall. In 2025, Sublime doubled annual recurring revenue in the first half of the year and maintained 100% enterprise customer retention, with a roster that includes Spotify, Snowflake, Zscaler, Anduril, Centrica, British Gas, Elastic, SentinelOne, and Compass.

To fund expansion of its agentic AI roadmap, Sublime raised $150 million in a Series C round last year and launched two flagship AI agents: Autonomous Security Analyst, which investigates and triages threats in seconds, and Autonomous Detection Engineer, which deploys bespoke defenses against emerging attacks in hours. These developments, combined with sustained growth metrics and validation from frontline CISOs, position Sublime as a key player in AI-enabled email security and a potential strategic asset in the evolving cybersecurity consolidation landscape.
