SEON has appointed Jules Gsell, a strategic advisor at IVP and veteran enterprise sales leader, to its board of directors as it scales its AI-driven fraud prevention and AML compliance platform. Gsell replaces outgoing board member Karthik Ramakrishnan and is expected to sharpen SEON’s commercial execution as AI-fueled fraud and financial crime grow in scale and sophistication.
CEO and co-founder Tamas Kadar highlighted Gsell’s track record building enterprise sales at Box and Databricks, noting her expertise will support SEON’s push into new markets and more complex global customers. Gsell, who now advises high-growth companies at IVP, said SEON is positioning ahead of emerging AI fraud risks rather than reacting, signaling an emphasis on proactive product and go-to-market strategy aligned with IVP, which led SEON’s $94 million Series B in 2022 and has backed its evolution into an integrated fraud, identity verification, and AML compliance platform.
