Octave has introduced the Octave Reliance Advanced Manufacturing Package, a SaaS-based quality management system designed to move manufacturers off spreadsheets and fragmented tools and into a unified, compliance-ready platform. Targeting automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment and other mission-critical sectors, the package operationalizes automotive-derived processes such as advanced product quality planning, failure modes and effects analysis and closed-loop corrective actions, aiming to cut quality escapes and revenue risk.
For automotive suppliers, the system embeds workflows aligned with AIAG/VDA guidance and IATF 16949 standards, supporting APQP, FMEA, PPAP, change management and supplier qualification while maintaining audit readiness across global value chains. Beyond automotive, Octave positions Reliance as infrastructure to scale “automotive-grade” quality practices into adjacent industries, integrating ERP, PLM, MES, supplier portals and predictive quality tools to provide full traceability, configurable workflows and an enterprise-wide quality view; additional modules for layered process audits and continuous improvement are in development, reinforcing Octave’s broader strategy to connect contextualized data across the design, build, operate and protect lifecycle of critical facilities and infrastructure.
