JUSDA Europe Targets Western Balkans as Strategic Logistics Hub With Serbia Entry

JUSDA Europe is deepening its expansion into the Western Balkans, positioning Serbia as a key logistics hub between EU and Asian supply chains and signaling a strategic step in its regional growth agenda. At the “JUSDA Europe Industry Dialogue: Strengthening EU-Western Balkans Logistics Collaboration” in Belgrade, the company convened logistics providers, industrial firms, and Serbian authorities to identify concrete cooperation opportunities and address operational supply chain challenges.

General Manager Petr Škoda emphasized that JUSDA aims to act as an integrator and partner to local players rather than a direct competitor, using its network to connect Serbian and Western Balkans businesses to global markets. As part of this strategy, JUSDA is building a distribution center in Zrenjanin that is expected to create dozens of jobs and provide tailored manufacturing and distribution logistics solutions for clients.

Škoda highlighted that JUSDA’s model is to design end-to-end flows from factory to end customer, which could improve cost efficiency and reliability for regional manufacturers seeking better access to European and Asian markets. The event’s focus on strategic alliances and case studies underlined JUSDA’s intent to embed itself in local value chains and secure long-term contracts with industrial partners.

Czech diplomatic representatives framed the initiative as part of a broader effort to strengthen Czech corporate presence in Serbia, which may support JUSDA’s navigation of regulatory, customs, and infrastructure issues in the market. By aligning commercial goals with diplomatic support, JUSDA could accelerate route development, cross-border coordination, and investment approvals critical to scaling operations.

For executives assessing JUSDA’s trajectory, the Serbia move suggests a medium- to long-term bet on the Western Balkans as a growth corridor for nearshoring, automotive, electronics, and industrial production.
