This approach targets employers seeking higher utilization, measurable outcomes, and improved return on wellness spend compared with conventional EAP offerings.

By urging organizations to “upgrade” their existing EAPs, Headspace is pursuing a replacement or augmentation strategy aimed at displacing or integrating with legacy benefits vendors. If successful, this could deepen integration into employer benefits stacks, strengthen customer retention, and support upsell opportunities and multi-year contract value.
