Evergreen Nephrology has appointed Eugenia Timm as Chief Operating Officer, a move aimed at strengthening execution as the company scales its value-based kidney care model across the U.S. Timm, who has more than 15 years of experience leading multi-site, risk-bearing medical groups, will oversee day-to-day operations and align clinical and financial performance to support Evergreen’s growth trajectory.
CEO Heather Trafton said Timm’s background in population health, risk-based operations, and provider network management is expected to enhance Evergreen’s ability to deliver measurable outcomes for patients and partners, building on its participation in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s Kidney Care Choices Program. Timm most recently led value-based medical group operations for nearly 190,000 patients in the Los Angeles South region at Optum, experience that Evergreen aims to leverage as it operates in 24 states with a network of over 1,000 providers and seeks to expand scalable care models for chronic and end-stage kidney disease.
